Last updated: 12 September 2026. These terms are a working draft prepared for Block Real Estate and should be reviewed by a Kenyan advocate before being relied upon.
1. Who We Are
This website (block.ke, the “Site”) is operated by Block Real Estate (“Block”, “we”, “us”), a real estate agency based at Upper Hill Gardens, Suite D15, Upper Hill, Nairobi, Kenya (P.O. Box 29724 – 00100 Nairobi). By using this Site you agree to these Terms of Use.
2. Listings & Information
Property listings, prices, measurements, availability, and descriptions are provided in good faith for general guidance only and may change or be withdrawn without notice. They do not constitute an offer capable of acceptance, a valuation, or financial, investment, or legal advice. You must independently verify all information — including title status, approvals, and physical condition — before entering any transaction. Off-plan renders and artist impressions are indicative only.
3. Use of the Site
You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape, reproduce, or republish Site content (including listing photography and copy) without our written consent; misrepresent your identity in enquiries; or use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
4. Enquiries & Engagement
Submitting an enquiry does not create an agency relationship. Agency engagements (sale, letting, or management instructions) take effect only on a signed agreement setting out scope and fees. Any commissions or fees are as agreed in writing.
5. Intellectual Property
The Block Real Estate name, logo, and Site content are our property or used with permission. Third-party trademarks belong to their owners.
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on Site content, Site downtime, or third-party links. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012.
7. Privacy
Personal data submitted through the Site is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Act, 2019.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute.
